Logic circuits can be easy to understand, if you draw them on a piece of paper. A better idea is to draw them on your computer. With Logic Circuit, you can simulate your circuits, combine them, spot and fix mistakes and more. The necessary components are placed right in front of you and connecting them is easy.

The application is freeware and it can be installed in no time. It works on all popular Windows platforms and it does not ask for too much disk space, RAM or processing power. Furthermore, you don't have to install additional tools or services before running this application.

The user interface is clean and simple. Logic Circuit provides numerous components, such as buttons, simple LEDs or LED matrices, clocks, splitters and others. They are listed on the left side of the window and you just need to drag them to the editing area, on the right side.

All components have a certain number of input and output pins. You may connect the inserted components with wires, just by clicking and dragging from one pin to another. It is also possible to split and intersect two or more wires. A series of primitives are listed as well and you can insert them the same way and use them to create complex connections.

Certain components can be adjusted. You can change the number of split pins, bit width, insert values and more, by typing or selecting a value, next to a listed component. Alternatively, you can double click an inserted component and make the same settings, on a separate window.

The software allows you to build multiple circuits separately. They are listed among the components and primitives and you may combine them, by dragging and dropping one over another. You can simulate a circuit and interact with it, by clicking an On/Off button, located in the lower right corner of the interface.

Pros

The software places numerous components at your disposal. You can insert and connect components just by clicking and dragging. It is possible to make a series of adjustments to certain components and you can also simulate your entire circuit.

Cons

A more detailed help file would be helpful. Thanks to Logic Circuit's simple design, it will not take long to create a circuit, regardless of its complexity.
